I want to adopt a thinking mode that focuses on specific challenges as the protagonist:

  • From specific A to abstract to specific B, I am following this process.
    • In terms of fractals, I am following this process:
      • Specific A “I want to read articles quickly” → Abstract “To understand articles quickly, a fractal-like user interface might be helpful”
      • Abstract “To understand articles quickly, a fractal-like user interface might be helpful” → Specific B “It’s cumbersome to read online meeting minutes” and “It’s cumbersome to read news articles”
      • However, just going back and forth once may not lead to a perfect fit.
        • From here, after considering challenges like “It’s cumbersome to read online meeting minutes” and “It’s cumbersome to read news articles,” create a moderately abstracted solution again.
      • By repeating such loops, I thought that the accuracy would gradually improve (blu3mo).
  • This indicates the need for thinking that does not primarily focus on “abstract” but rather on “concrete.”
    • My current approach to fractal summaries:
    • Instead, I thought it might be better to place “specific” as the protagonist and then expand the thinking towards abstraction.
  • I want to be able to switch to such a thinking mode by metacognition.
