• Peer Mentor: A peer who is close in age and social standing. They have a relationship where they can stimulate and learn from each other despite having different backgrounds.
  • Peer-to-Peer Coaching: A practice where peer mentors take turns “verbalizing challenges” and “promoting decision-making” in order to help each other. They form pairs and take on the roles of “speaker” and “listener”.
  • Both the “speaker” and the “listener” believe that the answers the “speaker” needs are within themselves and participate in the dialogue.
