Understanding the meaning of “hw12 (3) towards the origin”

I still don’t have a good understanding of Green’s theorem, so I will study it later.

• Surface Integral: Why don’t we multiply by “r” in the double integral of polar coordinates? You can refer to section 6.67 of this link.

• I need to review section 5.6 on inertia.

For Exam 2:

• Pay attention to the range of topics, including linearization.
• Practice problems involving the chain rule to become more proficient.
• Solve Rec 6 and 7, as I haven’t done them yet.
• Develop an intuition for concepts like maxima, directional derivatives, and the second derivative test.
• I want to gain a better understanding of Lagrange multipliers.

For Exam 1:

• Areas of concern include curvature and how to find limits.
• Things I can do to prepare:
  • Solve the problems from the rec sessions that I haven’t done yet, especially Rec 4.
  • Complete at least one Mock Exam.

Tuesday:

• Clear up any remaining questions and solve a Mock Exam.
  • I tend to not do it if I carry it over to the next day.

Wednesday: Tasks to complete:

• Watch the solutions video for the Mock Exam. ✅

• Review Rec 1.

• Also review Rec 2.

• Solve Rec 4.

• Study from OpenStax:

  • Chapter 2 should be enough from here: link
  • Look at the challenging parts from link and solve them.
  • Similarly, for link.
  • Also interested in solving problems related to continuity.
  • Solve problems from link.

• Review the difficult parts of the homework, especially hw3.

• Covering material up to Lecture 8.
