Liberal Democratic Party Leadership Election 2021

• The system/structure of Democracy seems to be functioning and it is interesting to watch.

  • (In a way, it feels like a strategy of the Liberal Democratic Party as a whole.)
    • (Well, even if that’s the case, it’s still interesting.)

• This is actually the first time I feel like I’m watching a national political race where I don’t know who will win, ever since I started thinking about politics.

  • Since 2012, it has been the Abe administration, and even when Abe was succeeded by Suga, there was a smooth transition of some sort.
  • There is a clear element of entertainment.
