Ideas That Only Come to Non-Engineers

• There was a discussion before about CHOCOLATE, but I was thinking about what ideas can only come from non-technical people.

• Engineer = エンジニア (Japanese term for engineer), def:

• Idea def: Something that comes before the specific implementation method

  • (Dealing with ideas that have value before the implementation method, not the actual method itself)

• Strengths of engineers

  • Able to see usable technologies
  • Capable of generating technology-based ideas (Head that daydreams, hand that thinks)
  • Able to see the border between what can be done and what cannot be done
    • i.e. Able to judge between ”SF” and ”technically possible”
    • Therefore, able to explore within a narrow range
