- I organized and decluttered my bookshelf in New Year’s Eve Room Cleaning 2020.
- I also organized my cables.
- While I was at it, I decided to improve my work environment.
- Things I want to do now:
- I want to change the stand for my iMac.
- Issue: Since it’s a box, I can’t fit my HHKB and trackpad underneath it.
- Solution: Something that can accommodate items underneath and allow for cable management.
- An arm, perhaps?
- It’s not a VESA mount iMac, so it might not work (although there are some options, they look tacky).

- I want to change the stand for my secondary display.
- Issue: I have the display raised on a box, but I want to utilize the space underneath.
- The box is dividing the space in the front and back, which is not ideal.
- Solution:
- An arm, maybe?
- I can’t use the VESA mount as is, but there are adapters available.
- Alternatively, I could consider changing the display altogether.
- With an arm, I can also switch between portrait and landscape modes, which is convenient.
