• I felt the atmosphere of wanting a good textbook to be included in the Active Reading list, so I’d like to propose one.

• First of all, the author is deceased and the copyright has already expired, so it’s okay to post it on the public Scrapbox.

• Such texts often use old kana spellings (this one originally did too), but there are people who have published PDFs that have been converted to modern kana spellings.

• The author is a native Japanese speaker, so there is no distortion in translation.

• It is a lecture record of a lecture given by an accomplished philosopher at a university, so the explanation is understandable and suitable for people without prior knowledge.
