Genius’s Tanka Classroom for Ordinary People

First of all, there are too many Japanese language geniuses out there. Or rather, the first 10-20 pages of the book are designed too well.

  • Tanka is not suitable for capturing the “present moment”.

  • Instead, it is the perfect poetic form for crystallizing what is in one’s own memory (past emotions, overlooked scenery) for oneself.
