2024 Spring Break

• After that, I will be going to Florida for IEEE VR 2024, so I don’t plan to do anything special during spring break (blu3mo).

• I plan to work diligently at Columbia.

• Things to do:

  • Prepare materials for IEEE VR 2024 and practice presentations.
  • Write an application for Kuma Foundation.
  • There are also some assignments to complete.

• Things I want to do:

  • Advance CGUI Lab Research 202310~.
    • Since the FMRG constraints have become clear, I will brainstorm again based on that and share with Steve as needed.
  • Create a plan to strategically build relationships and act on it.
    • Initially focus on research and outreach in Columbia and NYC.
  • Write about Asymmetric Reality, Predicting the Future of VR - Expansion of Partial Temporal and Spatial Sharing, and others.
    • Although discussions on predicting the future are currently just speculation, I believe delving deeper can lead to valuable analysis (or reveal that it was just idle talk), so I want to explore further.
  • Study the business world of areas I am interested in.
    • VR, HCI, HAI, etc.
    • I want to understand when it comes to business discussions, as I am clueless about it compared to research.
    • I want to know both the narrative and specific numbers.
  • Read Business Management 101.
  • Read Resolving ML Complexes.
