  • A bicycle allows you to move within your field of view at almost zero cost.
  • When I was riding The Mist of the World, I realized that if I wanted to go to a point 20 meters ahead on foot, it would take some effort. But with a bicycle, I can reach that point in an instant without any hesitation.
  • When I go for a walk without thinking, the points I want to go to are usually within my field of view (obviously). So, it’s great that it costs me nothing to reach those points.
  • Although there is a trade-off between maneuverability and speed, I think a bicycle is often just right for clearing the mist of the world. In aimless walks, there is usually no need to travel beyond the field of view.
