• Personally, I believe that the difference between “manners to be observed” and “unnecessary manners” lies in whether they make the other person happy by being observed.#happiness
    • Manners such as seating arrangements do not necessarily make anyone happy.
  • But when I think about it, based on the above definition,
    • If observing “unnecessary manners” actually makes the other person happy, then it would mean that these manners should also be observed.
      • Based on the above definition, if a subordinate observes the rule of seating arrangements and it makes their boss feel good, then it should be observed.
    • The cost to the observer is not included in the definition.
  • This differs from my own perspective.
