Benefits of Publishing Scrapbox

Impressions after operating for almost a year, 20220328:

• It’s interesting when meeting new people who already know about me.
  • It’s mostly as I wrote in the Essay Scrapbox Proposal.
  • Specific examples:
    • When I first sent a DM to Nota Internship Spring 2022, they said it was helpful to understand what kind of person I am by referring to Scrapbox.
    • It seems that Steenz Interview became interested after looking at Scrapbox.
    • In a certain scholarship interview, the conversation went quickly because they had read Scrapbox in advance.
    • Especially recently (since 2022), when meeting new people, they often mention that they looked at Scrapbox before actually talking to me.
  • Since Scrapbox is a relatively minor method of information sharing, not everyone looks at it for every case.
    • It’s not often looked at in situations like Application Interview.
    • However, it is often helpful (blu3mo)(blu3mo).
• It’s interesting that acquaintances who are watching without me actively sharing anything are aware of what I’ve been doing recently.
  • Since they can see all my tasks by looking at the diary page, nothing is hidden.

• It was mentioned in other projects after being published.

    • Seems to be via Village Pump.
• It seems that [@spagetty and Zoom] read various things before talking.
  • I’m glad I made it public because the conversation goes faster.
  • They seemed to have read not only about Kineto but also about the exam.
