• Before about a year ago, I hardly listened to music at all.
    • I only knew a few popular JPOP songs.
    • So, I don’t think I had formed a “preferred music” taste.
  • Through influences from entertainment other than music, I gradually started listening more recently.
  • Through repeated exposure like that, I feel like my recent “favorite music” has been formed.
    • In other words, I happened to be influenced by music from internet entertainment, so I listen to a lot of Vocaloid music, but I think it’s just a coincidence.
    • If, hypothetically, a friend strongly recommended classical or rock music and I had been listening to that, I think I would have gotten into it.
  • It’s just a hypothesis, but I think most people go through this process when they are younger.
    • So, do they naturally feel like they have “preferred music” from birth?
    • Since I didn’t go through that process until around my second or third year of high school, I don’t feel like I have an innate preference.
