  • How to draw (Drawing)

  • The first step is to be able to draw clean straight lines/curves

    • It’s a process of learning while progressing
  • Even if you think you can observe the elements, you don’t seem to be able to do it at all. It felt like IB Japanese’s 文学分析 (literary analysis)

  • This is exactly what I wanted~ (blu3mo)

    • A book that teaches you how to quickly draw images that capture the features without being highly realistic

    • It enables you to quickly draw pictures that capture the features of a model after observing them

  • Practice Drawing Lines

p17

  • Start by roughly capturing the shape, and as you observe more closely, it becomes easier to draw

    • image
    • If you try to copy the details from the beginning, it becomes difficult to see the overall balance
      • So, first balance it out and then add the details
  • How to draw lines

    • Make sure that the lines you imagine in your head match the lines you actually draw
      • I didn’t pay much attention to each individual line
  • Remember the joy of drawing

    • 61f75f1a79e11300007ed10e
      • It said something good (blu3mo)
      • It’s important not to depend on others for the standard of “joy”(?)
  • 棒人間 (Stick figure)

    • image

    • The upper body and lower body are about the same length

    • Draw the hands a little above the head, leaving a small gap

      • It’s easy to end up drawing them lower (blu3mo)
    • By manipulating it well, you can freely move a person

    • I wanted to draw ソーラン節 (Soran Bushi) on the right (blu3mo)

      • It’s different, so when you compare it to the real thing, the way it bends is different in various ways
        • It seems that the perception of how each joint bends was off
        • Not just this, but if you compare it to reality and make adjustments, your drawing skills improve, right?
      • Also, I should have considered the center of gravity
      • And I didn’t even have the idea of tilting the torso in the first place
    • image

      • It got better
    • Movement

      • I see, there are rules for angles
        • It feels like learning based on theory (blu3mo)
        • image
        • The left one is based on reality, and the right one is drawn according to the book
        • The one in the book is more like a manga expression, right?
          • It’s quite different, but both of them seem to be running, which is strange
  • When drawing an object, consider the perspective of being easy to draw and capturing its features

    • Being easy to draw means
      • It can be expressed by combining simple elements
    • Capturing its features means
      • Transferring what is unique to it
      • For example, if it’s a lemon, it would be the pointed shape
      • In other words, increasing the Information Quantity (meaning rarity)
  • Stretching brush strokes- image

  • It looks better with guidelines, especially for ellipses.

  • Also, it’s good to draw short lines in layers.

    • Each line may have some ambiguity when drawn individually, but when connecting the next line, the best interpretation is chosen from the ambiguous interpretations, so it improves(?).
  • image

  • The one on the right was drawn first, and the one on the left was drawn later.

    • I used guidelines, and the circle looks much better.
  • image

    • I drew it based on a photo.
    • It’s important to grasp the shape and adjust the balance first.
      • I was able to adjust the balance well this way.
    • I also drew guidelines for the circle.
    • It’s also quite important to notice when lines are parallel to each other (blu3mo).
    • And by drawing a bicycle like this carefully, you can understand its structure, making it easier to draw deformed bicycles in the future (blu3mo).
  • I realized that if you draw points randomly, the corners become rounded and the drawing looks very “sloppy”.

  • This is also highly recommended! https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSep9cqur/ (fuka)
