GKA Lost and Found Database Proposal

• Currently, there are various ways to handle lost items:

  • They can be kept in the staff room.
  • They can be placed in the office.
  • They can be placed in the lost and found.
  • They can be left in the classroom.
    • Some classrooms may have their own lost and found.

• There is a proposal to make this more convenient by creating a centralized database.

  • An app/website/Line Bot or something similar could be used to report found items.
    • Information to be included in the report:
      • Location of the item (optional)
      • Photo of the item (optional)
      • Current location of the item (left at the location or taken to the lost and found)
    • (The key seems to be how to make this process simple and easy)
  • If something is lost, it could be found by searching the database.

• Platform

  • Line Bot seems to be the most suitable in terms of development ease.

• As for adding technical interest, it would be interesting if the Line Bot could recognize objects by taking a photo.

• If it could also obtain location information, it might be possible to complete the lost item registration just by sending a photo to the Line Bot.

  • Is it difficult to obtain GPS information through the Line Bot?
