$P(x)$ is unique if and only if for all $x$ and $y$, if $P(x)$ and $P(y)$ are true, then $x=y$.

If it exists §

It means that there is only one of it.

• Note that it does not consider whether it exists or not.

If it exists, we say it “uniquely exists”.
