@RK_Maruyama: If you’re applying for a postdoc position abroad, the best chance is before completing your doctoral degree after your peer-reviewed paper has been accepted. The same applies in Canada. The longer you wait after officially obtaining your Ph.D., the fewer opportunities there are. RT @jseita: There is a concept called the Ph.D. Clock.
